2008 |
|
|
Our last event was in October and it was a drinks
evening held at Horts on Broad Street. With a
great turnout and sponsorship by Smith & Williamson, the
success of our events continues. |

Our main event in 2008 was at Leigh Court on 31st July.
We held a summer party with hog roast, live band and
champagne on arrival. The weather held out long
enough for the roast and a drink in the gardens.
Then it was back inside for dancing, drinking and a
chance to catch up with friends. |

The event was sponsored by the Law Society, RICS and

On the 5th June 2008
we were up in Clifton at Channings. The event was sponsored by Deloitte and BPP.

We held a number of events throughout the year.
Most of the drinks evenings were at Horts, Broad Street,
Bristol. We also held a garden party at Bristol
Zoo. At that event, the donations and proceeds
from the tickets meant that £750 was given to the
Bristol Young Professionals Fund run by Quartet. The following firms and companies sponsored us
during 2007. We thank them for our support.

November's event saw us back at Bar III on Park
Street on a Wednesday evening. Our continuing
popularity was evident.

Our fifth event, held in September 2006, was the
most popular yet! Held further up Park Street at
the new Goldbrick House, we filled all three floors by
7pm. With free champagne on arrival, we hope
everyone enjoyed themselves. With thanks to our

Our fourth drinks evening was once again at Bar III
on Park Street. Held in May 2006, once again the
popularity of the event was obvious. With
approximately 200 people visiting throughout the
evening, we were pleased with the success.

Our third event was at Bar III on 16 February 2006.
A more concerted effort with the launch of the website
and use of the mailing list ensured that it was massively successful with approximately two
hundred people in attendance. We have received
plenty of feedback and it has been generous. We
also received coverage in the Bristol Evening Post
before and after the event as well as various local
professional publications. The event was sponsored by

2005 |
 |
The second event was in November 2005 and, again,
held at Pam Pams. A great success; up to a hundred people attended
from a wide range of companies and firms. Once again, news
of the event was spread through friends and colleagues
of the organisers together with a little reputation from
the first event. We also began the mailing list. |
 |
Our first event was in August 2005 and was held at
Pam Pams. We were not sponsored and we advertised
by word of mouth alone. We attracted about 40
people. |
